Waiting Kitty
...
And waits...
...
waits some more...
...
...
...
The Spawn, aka My daughter, was waiting for the boat to come. After 15 minutes it never showed. She finally asked Husband on just why the ship to go to Kitty's home was not here. She wanted to take a ship across the ocean.
At some point after Legion was launched To Be Prepared quest was accepted. Come to find out it phased her Stormwind Harbor, so no ships sailed.
I had about 45 minutes to start the quests into the Broken Isle for her Druid today. As I ported to Stormwind and flew to the harbor I watched as a ship was just sailing away. Sure enough, as I was closer the ship vanished and I was phased into the Harbor quests. I finished some quests, to the point we talked to the new King. I hope it fixed her phased Harbor.
Let us hope there is no more sad waiting Kitty.

Patch 4.0.3a NERFED BY 12%
To see what is going on you can check out the patch notes for 4.0.3a. Other then the complete change of the world around us… warlocks had a 12% nerf. It took 12% of my fun out of the game.
In my calculation the change of the world is a 10% fun increase. Doing the math this patch is 2% less fun then yesterday. /sign
BUT I can totally create a Gnome Priest. Which if you didn’t know is Hydra’s sister that I mentioned in a random RP post.
There are full notes elsewhere. But in-case you cannot see them here are the general and warlock changes.
The Shattering of Azeroth
In the frigid wastes of Northrend, the final battle against the merciless Lich King ended in victory for Azeroth's defenders. Upon returning home, veterans of the unforgiving conflict against the Scourge were showered with praise for their valiant sacrifices, while the honorable dead were mourned. Yet as hope flared anew in the wake of the Lich King's fall, Azeroth's native elemental spirits grew confused and erratic, setting off a series of deadly natural disasters. Horde and Alliance leaders scrambled for clues about the troubling state of the world, but nothing could have prepared them for what was to come.
Without warning, the corrupted Dragon Aspect, Deathwing, erupted from the stone heart of Deepholm, the domain of earth within the Elemental Plane. Jagged fissures were torn across the earth, and monstrous waves pummeled coastal regions. From Thousand Needles to the Blasted Lands, the surface of Azeroth was reforged through violent upheavals. Now, the Horde and the Alliance must defend their homes against Deathwing and his minions, burdened by the unsettling fact that the world as they know it has changed... forever.
Azeroth Shattered
Deathwing's return has had an immeasurable impact throughout the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. Players will notice drastically altered terrain, thousands of new quests from levels 1-55, and updated level ranges for some zones to improve the questing flow.
New Race/Class Combinations
In the wake of a world on the brink of destruction, members of the Horde and Alliance have taken to new cultures and studies, mastering crafts previously foreign to them. Many existing playable races now have new class combinations. Check the official World of Warcraft: Cataclysm website for a breakdown of the new combinations.
General
• The World of Warcraft: Cataclysm cinematic trailer and login screen have been added to the game.
• Experience required to gain levels 71 through 80 has been reduced by 20%, which increases leveling rate by 25%.
Classes: General
• Due to several talent revisions for select classes, druids, paladins, priests, and shaman have had their talent trees reset.
• The damage and healing done by players from levels 1-79 has been retuned, with the base points of almost all spells and abilities reduced. This was done to bring combat times at low levels to a more reasonable length. For most abilities that deal weapon damage, the weapon damage percent now rises per level until level 80, and starts at a lower percent.
• Healing Rain, Efflorescence, Holy Radiance, Holy Word: Sanctuary now have a diminished effect when healing more than 6 players at once.
• Mortal Strike, Furious Attacks, Wound Poison, Widow Venom, Permafrost, Improved Mind Blast, Monstrous Bite, and Legion Strike now reduce healing by 10%, down from 25%.
• Effects which are broken from taking too much damage (Fear, Frost Nova, Entangling Roots, etc.) now break automatically from about half as much damage taken as before.
Warlock
• Bane of Agony damage has been reduced by approximately 12%.
• Bane of Doom damage has been reduced by approximately 12%.
• Corruption damage has been reduced by approximately 12%.
• Death Coil damage has been reduced by approximately 12%.
• Drain Life damage has been reduced by approximately 12%.
• Drain Soul damage has been reduced by approximately 12%.
• Immolate damage has been reduced by approximately 12%.
• Incinerate damage has been reduced by approximately 12%.
• Rain of Fire damage has been increased to be more comparable to other area-of-effect abilities.
• Searing Pain damage has been reduced by approximately 12%.
• Seed of Corruption damage has been reduced to be more comparable to other area-of-effect abilities.
• Shadowbolt damage has been reduced by approximately 12%.
• Soul Fire damage has been reduced by approximately 12%.
Demonology
o Hand of Gul'dan damage has been reduced by approximately 12%.
Destruction
o Chaos Bolt damage has been reduced by approximately 12%.
o Conflagrate damage has been reduced by approximately 12%.
o Shadowburn damage has been reduced by approximately 12%.
Bug Fixes
o Drain Life: The Soulburn version of this was charging 17% of base mana instead of 12% like the normal version. This has been corrected.
Achievements
• The Gladiator reward mounts now award Master Riding.
• What A Long, Strange Trip It's Been now awards Master Riding.
Items
• Mysterious Egg now takes only 3 days to turn into a Cracked Egg and has a slightly greater chance of awarding the Reins of the Green Proto-Drake.
• PvP set bonuses now provide 70 of stats such as Agility, Intellect, and Strength (down from 100) at 2 pieces, and 180 of these stats (down from 300) at 4 pieces.
Professions
• Perfect Gem Cutting and Mixology have been removed as trainable skills and are instead passives profession abilities. When players reach the appropriate skill levels, they will start getting bonuses from Mixology (they must know the recipe to gain the benefit) and/or cutting perfect gems (depending on their profession, of course).
Alchemy
o Alchemy recipes now require Crystal Vials. Deathwing broke all the others because he's mean (or because he didn't want alchemists to carry 5 different vials around with them).
Engineering
o The Engineering Tinkering enchants will no longer provide their bonus stats, but the activated effects will stack with other enchants. In 4.0.1 the stats were there (but hidden) and are now removed.
Bug Fixes
• Certain area-of-effect abilities are no longer ignoring the area-of-effect damage cap.
• Mobs and NPCs should no longer appear to randomly gain or lose health during combat.
• Re-summoning pets in Battlegrounds should no longer count towards a player's total healing done.
Known Issues
• Some tooltips may not reflect the most recent changes to certain abilities.
• Worgen hunters are currently unable to learn Dual Wield.
• The achievement Explore Tol Barad will not be possible to complete upon release of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.

It was the Pits
Healer 1
Was fine. Then decided to stand in the mines, and dies with Krick and Ick still at 70% health. We survive another 20% or so but … you just run out of cooldowns. That healer left.
Healer 2
We killed Krick and Ick with no trouble. Then came the pulls I was dreading. I have no DK with me. I have no hunter or rogue to help me get agro on everything. Plus the 3 casters and 2 melee adds change after like 2 pulls. We died twice and the healer made a snotty comment and left. While none of us commented that he was still wearing pieces of 70 gear.
Healer 3
Still had to deal with ever changing trash pulls. I had no idea what their behavior would be like. At this point my dps friends were making fun of me, something about “Angry HYDRA”. Pfft. Just because I was yelling in vent did not mean I was angry. Harrumph.
We one shot every boss in Pit of Saron. (except Krick and Ick. I choose not to count that since seriously HEALER GET OUT OF THE EXPLODING PURPLE BALLS OF DEATH.)
The ret pally was really nice. And I thank my friends for laughing at me.
My trouble was understanding how the dumb adds moved since I normally stand 30 yards away… at a safe range.
I also said to them if you know of a better way then just yell at me. The third healer pointed out a thing or two, but that was it. So healers left in a huff knowing it is not the easiest instance to pull and had no constructive input. Plus, which part of “I have never pulled this place.” Did you not understand?

Keristrasza
I saved Keristrasza from a prison. Then together, we baited Saragosa, the consort to Malygos, and killed her.
Malygos yells: Keristrasza! You've bested my consort... and now YOU shall take her place!
Malygos shoots a bolt at Keristrasza, freezing her so that he can capture her.
Keristrasza yells: Never!
Having caught Keristrasza, both dragons despawn.
*gasp*
I couldn’t save her. All I could do is watch as Malygos took Keristrasza. I had released her from a prison to now have Malygos torture and rape her.
I had failed.
When I finished the last task I stood over Keristrasza's corpse in Nexus and cried.
---
After finishing this quest line I felt sick. I literally was so upset I had to walk away from the game. I went outside and took a walk to wrap my head around everything that happened with Keristrasza.

Patch 3.2 Hacked Up Notes
1) Twink only battles by turning off experience points.
2) Lifeblood doesn’t have GCD, again.
3) I get a purple Kitteh.
I rewatched it after reading the patch notes. Still nothing…
Here are the patch notes with only things I care about or thought funny. There is no reason for you to read these except in EXTREAM boredom. The full patch notes can always be found at http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/patchnotes/.
Crusaders' Coliseum
//They added 6 new instances. Crusaders' Coliseum holds 5-man normal and heroic, 10-man normal and heroic, and 25-man normal and heroic.
Isle of Conquest
//a new BG was added. It is time to get your vehicle on 40 man style. The resources usage takes me back to Age of Mythology.
General
//Blah blah blah. There are other places to get this information, like the real patch notes.
* The Argent Tournament Expands
o All new Argent Crusader daily quests and rewards have been added for players with the Crusader title. Rewards include a new Argent Crusader banner and tabard (which can port players to the tournament grounds), a mounted squire (can periodically run bank, mail or vendor errands for the player), a paladin-exclusive Argent Crusader Charger mount and new heirloom items. //Hearth to tourney and I have been wanting a more useful slave child since I cannot put a leash on him.
* New Dungeon Loot Feature
o Players will now be able to trade soulbound items with other raid or group members that were eligible for the loot. This system will work like the Item Buy Back system and allow 2 hours for players to trade an item after it has been looted. Players who choose to enchant or add gems to the item will get one last confirmation before losing the ability to trade the item. // This is pure customer service win.
* New druid art for Cat Form and Bear Form has been added. There are now five unique color schemes for each form and faction. Changing hair color (night elves) or skin tone (tauren) via the barbershop will change the look of one's cat and bear forms. //PURPLE KITTEH NOW!!!! *lick*
PvP
* Arenas
o Beginning with season 7, players will no longer have access to the newest season's weapons or shoulder armor and will not qualify for the Gladiator title/rewards with ratings from the 2v2 bracket alone. Ratings obtained through 3v3 and 5v5 game play will be required for these rewards, while the rest of the newest season's items will remain available to players in all brackets (standard rating restrictions still apply). //I am going to be running Arenas this season. I was told there needs to be more warlocks in arena so I have been practicing. What have I learned? I was going to say “I’m a noob.” But I knew that already, mostly that Demonic Circle http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=48020 is your friend and Shadowfury http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=47847 is fun!
* Battlegrounds
o Battleground experience has arrived!
+ Players will now be awarded experience for completing objectives and actions that yield honor in Battlegrounds (honorable kills not included).
+ Players who do not wish to gain experience through PvP can visit Behsten in Stormwind or Slahtz in Orgrimmar - both located near the Battlemasters in either city - and turn off all experience accumulation for the cost of 10 gold. //TWINKS DO IT. This should be one of the first things you should do. I am going to do this with different toons to try it all out before Aurum sets foot into another BG.
+ Disabling experience gains will prevent a player from gaining experience through any means available in the game.
+ Players with experience gains turned off who compete in Battlegrounds will face off only against other players with experience gains turned off. //I like this a lot. I am still concern about the queue times. Time will tell us if it is bad or not.
+ Behsten and Slahtz can reinstate experience gains for players, for a 10 gold fee of course. Any experience that would've been accumulated if experience gains were enabled cannot be recovered. //The unrecoverable experience is a good thing. I had a flash of turning this off and months of exp popping up for the toon. *shiver*
o Battlemasters in major cities affiliated with specific Battlegrounds have been replaced with a Battlemaster for each faction that will allow players to queue for any Battleground. Battlemasters for specific Battlegrounds will still be seen around the cities during corresponding Battleground holiday weekends. //Less NPCs. I was just thinking though that the ones in Ironforge seemed to be having an intense meeting. Apparently they are done chatting it up.
o When standing at a capture point that you control, you will gain a buff called Honorable Defender. This buff grants +50% honor gained from kills. This currently affects Arathi Basin, Eye of the Storm and Isle of Conquest.
o Arathi Basin
+ The time it requires to capture a base has been reduced to 8 seconds, down from 10 seconds.
+ The game now ends when one team reaches 1600 victory points, down from 2000.
o Eye of the Storm
+ The time it requires to capture the center flag has been reduced to 8 seconds, down from 10 seconds
+ The game now ends when one team reaches 1600 victory points, down from 2000.
o Strand of the Ancients
+ The faction starting on attack/defense will now be randomized at the start of each match.
o Warsong Gulch
+ There is a now a 20-minute timer on this Battleground. After that time, the team with the most flag captures wins. If this would result in a tie, the team that captured the first flag wins. If neither side has captured a flag, then the game ends in a tie.
* Wintergrasp //LOSERS! Take something that was so popular and f-uk it up. If these changes make it painful to do my fishing daily, I am putting in a help ticket. EVERY TIME.
o To provide players with a more transparent notification of when Wintergrasp battles occur, as well as better control zone population and stability, several changes have been made.
+ Players now have the option to queue for Wintergrasp from a Wintergrasp Battlemaster in any capital city or by simply entering the Wintergrasp zone.
+ Queuing will begin 15 minutes before each battle. If chosen, you will automatically be teleported to the zone. Any players in the zone who have not been chosen from the queue will be teleported out when the battle begins.
+ The queue system remains active for the entire battle. As soon as a player leaves, a new one will be chosen from the queue.
+ Trying to enter Wintergrasp during an active battle for which you have not been chosen will teleport you out. Please note that, as you are now able to fly over Wintergrasp, you will only be teleported out if you try to land and join the battle. //What about fishing f-ckers. This whole impeding my fishing is making me twitch.
+ Level 80 players get higher priority in the queue than lower level players. In addition, a random selection of queued players will be taken from both the Battlemasters and the zone itself.
+ The queue will accept up to 120 players from each faction, resulting in a maximum battle of 240 players at a time.
o Wintergrasp factories can no longer be damaged or destroyed.
Dungeons and Raids
* Dungeon and Raid ID Extensions //We will see how this goes. I think smaller guilds will benefit from this more.
* Emblem System Changes. //Yes. This is a good thing.
* The Nexus: The Oculus & The Eye of Eternity
o Drakes used by players in these instances will now scale in health and damage according to the rider's average item level. //YES. This may make up do our last achievements for heroic instances to get out drakes.
* Ulduar //Yogg-Saron changes. Which I would care about if we could poke at ‘em.
o Players can now use Blink, Shadowstep, and Demonic Teleport while participating in the illusion events in the Yogg-Saron encounter.
Items: General
* Agility: The amount of agility required per percentage of dodge has been increased by 15%.
* Dodge Rating: The amount of dodge rating required per percentage of dodge has been increased by 15%.
* Item Buy Back Feature Revised
o The Item Buy Back time will now expire if the player enchants or sockets an item. Players will see a confirmation dialog box now when they attempt to enchant or add gems to an item giving them a last chance to reconsider.
* Items with Triggered Effects: These items generally have cooldowns on how often they can be triggered. Those cooldowns are now triggered each time the item is equipped (example: A trinket has a 45-second cooldown on an effect triggered by player attacks; when a player equips that item, the effect will be unable to be triggered for the first 45 seconds it is worn).
* Mounts //I am sure you know riding skills changed. Go someplace else for details.
o Flying over Dalaran and Wintergrasp is now possible so long as players keep a healthy distance above the ground.
* Mana Regeneration: All items that provide "X mana per five seconds" have had the amount of mana they regenerate increased by approximately 25%.
* Resilience: No longer reduces the amount of damage done by damage-over-time spells, but instead reduces the amount of all damage done by players by the same proportion. In addition, the amount of resilience needed to reduce critical strike chance, critical strike damage and overall damage has been increased by 15%.
Classes: General
* All pets now receive 40% of their master's resilience and 100% of their master's spell penetration. In addition, if a player is at their appropriate spell hit chance or hit chance maximum, their pet will be at the maximum for spell hit chance, hit chance, and expertise. If they are below the maximum, their pet will be proportionately below those maximums. //Pet buff! But I am sure you had as much pet control as I did that your pet survivability was high already, correct? O.o
* Replenishment: This buff now grants 1% of the target's maximum mana over 5 seconds instead of 0.25% per second. This applies to all 5 sources of Replenishment (Vampiric Touch, Judgements of the Wise, Hunting Party, Enduring Winter Frostbolts and Soul Leech). //Replenishment nerf. What was once 0.25% per second is now 0.20% per second. A 20% reduction.
* Silence, Strangulate, Silencing Shot, and Arcane Torrent: These abilities will also apply a 3-second Interrupt effect against non-player controlled targets, making them more versatile against creatures immune to silencing effects. //Thinking the Gundrak mammoth interrupt achievement.
Death Knights
//My DK has been QQ about this for weeks and weeks. It is now here. I am now bracing myself for more QQ. I still like him anyway.
* Due to significant talent changes, all death knight talents will be reset for players.
Druids //PURPLE KITTEH.
* Enrage: This Bear Form ability now generates 20 rage initially, and 10 rage over the next 10 seconds. The armor penalty is unchanged.

* Flight Form and Swift Flight Form: Now benefit from a paladin's Crusader Aura.
* Innervate: Duration reduced to 10 seconds, and cooldown reduced to 3 minutes. This means each use of Innervate will give half as much mana as before, but it will be available twice as often.

* Savage Defense: The animation for gaining this buff will no longer make the bear stand upright
* Shred: Ranks 8 and 9 base points reduced by about 10%. Scaling from attack power unchanged.
* Swift Flight Form: Druids who have acquired a mount able to go 310% flight speed will now also go that speed while in this form. //That is a very cool change. And unexpected. Not that I have one.
* Swipe (Cat): Percent of weapon damage done reduced from 260% to 250%.
* Travel Form: Can now be learned at level 16.
* Talents
o Balance
+ Balance of Power: Now reduces all spell damage taken by 3/6%, rather than reducing the chance to be hit by spells by 2/4%.

Mages
* Mirror Image: Images will no longer trigger the death sound when their time expires. //*sniffles* I will miss all the dead mages.

Priests
//Priests happen.
Rogues
* After much quiet contemplation, rogues now possess the ability to learn how to use one-handed axes. //They get new toys.
* Talents
o Combat

o Subtlety
+ Shadow Dance: Cooldown reduced to 1 minute. Now lasts 6 seconds, down from 10 seconds.

* Ghost Wolf: Can now be learned at level 16. While in this form, snaring effects may not bring the shaman below base normal run speed. //This is going to suck at 19. With Shammies, hunters, and druids getting speed increase it will complete change the different roles in the WSG game.
Warlocks
* Banish: Effect will now be cancelled if Banish is recast on a banished target. //Which is great… if you was not trying to re-banish. Even more reason for you to pay attention to when your banish breaks.

* Talents

Players can find out more by visiting the Eventide District (completing the quests being offered for this event will not count toward any Children's Week achievements). Players have a limited amount of time to care for these orphans before they take their leave. They will then return again for the regularly-scheduled Children's Week next year. //Wait … I know I killed those Wolvar pups already.

o Demonic Circle: The visual for this spell should now despawn when the warlock dies or when the warlock otherwise loses the aura that allows transport to the circle.
o Immolate and Unstable Affliction: All ranks of these two spells will now overwrite each other.
o Improved Imp: Each time an Imp is summoned it will recast Blood Pact (if autocast is on), forcing it to benefit from this talent, even if the Imp was not summoned at the time the talent was learned.
o Improved Shadow Bolt: Redesigned slightly. Instead of a 100% chance to apply a 1/2/3/4/5% critical strike increase on the target, it now has a 20/40/60/80/100% chance to apply a 5% critical strike increase.
* Warriors
* Items
o Commendation of Bravery: No longer useable when player is already at the maximum honor allowed.
o Glyphs
+ Glyph of Shadowflame: The effect from this glyph will now work properly when multiple Warlocks use Shadowflame on the target.
o Heavy Netherweave Net: Using this item no longer causes the user to break shapeshifts. //I need to use these more.
o Trinkets: Various trinkets which did not work properly with channeled area-of-effect spells will now work with those spells. This includes (but is not limited to) Illustration of the Dragon Soul, Darkmoon Card: Greatness, and Egg of Mortal Essence.
o Wintergrasp Commendation: No longer useable when player is already at the maximum honor allowed.
* Professions
o Enchant Weapon - Black Magic: This enchantment can now be triggered by some spells it did not previously work with, including Curse of Agony, Blizzard, and Typhoon.
//I am done and can be pulled off this summers feeding of patch notes. Hope everyone is having a good summer.

Girls Night Out
A friend set it up. We were wracking our brain about who we knew was an ACTUAL female. I was able to talk to a few. Of course afterwards I came up with a few more I need to talk too for next time. We should eventually be able to fill a full 25 Woman raid.
We did have a few guys try to shoulder into the raid. When we were looking for more to fill the 10 woman raid, offers of “I will mute myself.”, “I can tank.”, and the easily ignored “Can I come?” were many.
At one point there was a discussion about Hydra healing. Laughter ensued. Hydra brings the dps. Iuncusia brings the melee dps or some tankage. I tried dispelling diseases and I had trouble with that. (It is a sordid tale.) We had plenty of healers so it was not an issue.
Once we decided to 8 women OS. We needed an off-tank, instead of Hydra getting to pwn face, Iuncusia was off tank. First time tanking in OS, but I felt very comfortable tanking. It could have been that I was Naxx OT the week before.
There was no yelling. There was a lot of chatter. There was some giggling. There was lots of killing. In the end there was one dead dragon.
I lied there was yelling.
While tanking, I was on Sartharion’s adds. I had never done this before. There was an unfortunate Growl on the boss. *blush* So there was me screaming “I’m sorry! I’m sorry! Here you can have it back. I’m sorry.” ... but with cussing. Lots of cussing.
We plan on trying this every other week. The next one is already planned. We think we are going to try going EoE sometime too. Many have the neck piece quest. Since a lot of our guilds no longer run OS and EoE as guild runs these will be quick fun runs.
Girls only raid, Vent required.

Randomness by Screenshots
The smelly humans were the last on my list to become a Crusader.
This year I got the Veteran Nanny achievement. Apparently I did the Outland quest last year but not the one that started in Stormwind.
Last month in getting prepped for trying to buy Blizzcon 2009 tickets I switched to a battle.net Blizzard account. Remember final is final.
Last month my druid, Iuncusia (with an "i" AKA Lung Cookie AKA Cookie) turned level 80. With some gear and practice I am getting OK. And that is just fine by me. Here is her actual Ding! Shot in Culling of Stratholme.
After turning level 80 I went to go train in Moonglade. I think I didn’t train for a few levels.
Mom is doing instances. Heroics even! What a huge step. No more Spell Power for this hunter. She also has a new fancy crossbow. There was also a run of Heroic: Culling of Stratholme where she was able to get the bronze drake from the time event.
Of course there is more!

Two Raiding
I know. Not a shocker. See… I did 25-Naxx twice. In one day.
Toward the end of Burning Crusade I saw a complete lack of interest of running raids. I saw even less for progression raiding. I vowed to never be in a position of wanting to raid but cannot raid for lack of raiders.
My druid is now level 80 as of the May 13th. Since then Iuncusia has a pure kitteh spec. I have run heroics, some multiple times. I have cleared three wings of Naxx and the fourth until Thaddius.
I entered in quest blues, some instance gear, and bind on account shoulders. Left with three epics including my T7.5 shoulders in one run. Starting out with about 1700 dps and then with practice hitting 2400 dps. (BTW… I actually need to know which mobs whirlwind now.)
She is in a different guild than Hydra.
I am a raider.
Getting Hydra to level 80 a month and a half after Wrath came out opened a lot of great PuG situations for me. There are not that may raiding guilds on my small-medium server. So we tried the new raids together. In that time I got to know other out of guild raiders. Then my own guild started to raid. So the PuGs stopped for me.
With Wrath it has been a riot. I am enjoying raiding on Hydra and with my guild immensely. I am doing everything I can think of to make sure I am better then expected. Or at least not be the one who was standing in the blue/purple/red/green flames/zone/swirl of death.
Having a 25 man casual group, though sometimes frustrating, is nice and relaxing for me (but then I am not an officer. *grin*). Having a Hardcore group for 10-man progression has been really nice (again because I am not an officer *grin*).
I am still being called to raid with those that I PuGed with early on.
I moved my drood too one of the three guilds I was running with. I leveled to 80 there. I watch their progression and drama. It reminds me how good Hydra has it… I actually like everyone I raid with.
Iuncusia’s goal is to pave the way for future raiding. She is my toon to PuG with a select few groups. I am sure there will be a time in Wrath that raiding will slow down. I know some are already finding Naxx boring.
I already found out that one of the members is an Alt from the third guild I sometimes run with. He whispered me when he realized that Iuncusia was Hydra’s Alt. We hit it off great, can you tell why?
[W] Hey I didn’t know you were in this guild too. / Evil

Ding! to Midnight Tank in 1.5 hours
Luckily I was farming the scourge invasion the night before. For gloves and shoulders I picked up the items from the Necrotic Runes.
From all of the instance tanking I had enough reputation to pick up the Dragonhide Helm from lower city and Dragonhide Robe from Honor Hold. That gave me some extra armor. Because I am Bear the resilience helps. As PvP gear it had high stamina. All perfect and quick!
For my legs and boots I had made the Heavy Clefthoof Leggings and Heavy Clefthoof Boots.
In such short notice I would never be able to fill all the gems from AH and/or get them cut. Also green gems are going for 15G, people are insane. So I picked up gems from a gem merchant. All slots filled!
Wait… meta for my head slot. Spirit shards! I had some from tanking the Auchindoun instances. I had more then enough to pick up Swift Windfire Diamond.
I sure felt scrubby going to Kara. But that is all I had time for. That is all I could get done. At least I knew we had a real main tank.
It was not even planned. Not even close. I knew things got nerfed but not to the point that you would take an under-geared tank. Granted there was not that much off-tanking needed. I picked up stragglers after healers and tried to lighten the load off the warrior in pack pulls. I helped keep the pace as fast as I could.
I cat dps Maiden.
I took the Hateful Bolts on Curator.
I tanked Kil’rek.
I cat killed Aran. (Which I learned quickly you don’t get sucked in prior to Arcane Explosion when in melee range.)
I danced in and out of the red beam and took the green beam on Netherspite.
I failed my first EVER Chess! WTB heals on King.
I survived melee enfeebles on Prince!
[10:37] DING!
[12:03] Attumen the Hutsman engaged.
…
[14:32] Prince Malchezaar has been defeated.
I picked up so much new gear my head is spinning. I picked up two pieces of T4, the gloves and helm. I beat the rouge out of the Girdle of Treachery which replaced a green quest item. I know there is more but I am still a bit fuddled by it all.
Then… I finished my Kara keying in Black More-ass. *grin* Which let me run around finishing off my quest inside a cleared Kara. But now I have to kill Aran and Prince!!?? Don't they know I did that already.
I HAZ ALT!

A Twig and a Cat
When looking at weapon upgrades I was being really picky. I have been clinging to my Manual Crowd Pummeler for way longer then usefulness. Nothing came close until I found a Twig of the World Tree and enchanted it up nicely for some great kitty killing. The dripping blood is so nice it matches my claws after a good time.
I have been practicing kitty killing with the guidance of BBB. I even respec talents at 50 following BBB guide for leveling and talent points.
At level 42 I did finely get over to Darnassus to pick up my level 30 mount. I looked at an old tired grumpy spotted cat. Lelanai told me he was once a mount of a Night Elf huntard. I don’t know what that is, but apparently it is a terrible awful agonizing creature of deep oozing slime ... to top it off it is pink too. *shiver* Poor cat.

Quest for the Gold Medallion: Iuncusia
I am leveling. You hear me LEVELING. Leveling Leveling Leveling Leveling. I haven’t had a problem killing anything.
*glare* We have to kill Horde to get my Gold Medallion. WRONG… I have to WIN against Horde to get my Gold Medallion.
I don’t see kiting, or healing, or stealthing, or… or… WINNING. Seriously you $^@#* (#*^&@ and your pet too.
*sigh* I need to fix something. Hydra tells me that the only thing you can fix is myself and tell people about Shift+M.
Ohnoes. I am in battle with level 22 items. EEP. Need to fix that.
But what should I focus on in battlegrounds? There seems to be a lot of individuals just randomly killing. So that is not needed. What does that leave me? *shiver* Healz *double shiver*
Right off I remind everyone about shift+m and watch my map. Horde has farm, LM, BS, and mine? I head to farm to check out the bored out of their mind Horde. *wait wait wait* There they go. *turns farm* Which in turns make 3-5 defenders from the other nodes return to farm. So off I go to LM. Then back to farm. Then to mine. I had six flag assaulted in a game. Sooo much better…
*grumble* I did that healing thing. *grumbles more* Apparently Horde don’t like when you are healing stabby stabby rogues or chop your head off warriors. *shrug* go figure. I GO BEAR. Grrr.
No mount! lol
I win! You lose. I get my dragon! Bye Bye... or ... Bai Bai.
To be continued introducing Artume…

Raptors Don't Speak Darnassian
So we start killing Jungle Stalkers for the Raptor Mastery that Mr. Nesingwary gave us both. I felt a little bad. I had left the area to Theramore for easier pickings. But with this hunter we should be able to get those pesky raptors killed.
I start to nom nom nom on a raptor and yell mean things at them. I tank with my face. MY FACE! Apparently they don’t understand me cause off they go. Chasing down the hunter, who kites them… and then they die. Lets try this again… nom nom nom…then straight for the hunter… do they have me on ignore or something??
Here I am in my 36th season. I cannot hold aggro. I am so very embarrassed. The hunter to my back is associated with one of the tanks for Hydra. So I hunker down and try to put on a good show. Raptor after raptor would ignore me after about 25% and chase after the hunter. *growl*
If I cannot hold aggro I might as well kill faster. So I buff myself up and buff the hunter pet and hunter. He sends the pet in and auto shots. So I turned cat. But I still have the hunter targeted. What is that! What is he doing!!!
[Iuncusia] You’re using aimed shot right off! Aimed shot!! You &*^% and @$#$ that includes your pet too! grrr
[Hunter] haha

Tale of a Halo
I am going to punch SMACK someone in the face up side the head. I want IT for myself. Before Hydra could go to the Horde capital cities I went. I didn’t wait.
Thunder Bluff was my first target. In my 32nd season, I ran through the Barrens making a quick stop to snuff out the Crossroads flame. I went straight to Mulgore pausing briefly at
Then I danced with a nice Horde druid. I dodged guards. I stealthed around vendors. I wisp explored where the fire was located. I stripped down to my pants to save some of my gear. Then had to abandon those since they we no longer helpful. I was naked in a city of
I made it.
I snuffed out the flame and picked up the Flame of Thunder Bluff.
You asinine Hogger loving booger … (Cussing and item throwing was removed. You will have to just imagine the tantrum here. ~Hydra)
… and your dog too.
You have to be season 50 to be allowed to complete this task.
I WANTed a halo of my own. *glower*
/sigh
After Iuncusia wore herself out… I finished my notes to Aurum about her banking and how the gems, primals, and enchanting materials were selling. With Season 4 well on its way, it is going quite well. We have a hitch with some of the gems. Overall I made gold.
I made a deal with Iuncusia.
Every single one would be desecrated. No Horde fire would be unvisited. They will all be snuffed out.
I ran around putting out Horde fires and honoring the Alliance fires. Not one flame was unvisited in Kalimdor,
I had my captured flame from last year. I didn’t need to spend blossoms to get mine. Maybe I will get the complete outfit from the festival. I have not decided yet.
Iuncusia was quite happy with the results.Of all of Azeroth I find this as one of my favorite places. The atmosphere if fantastic. Any guesses of land and subregion?
