Yes. You can get achievements in death. But not always. I don’t have any idea what happened. Except that I was the last dps to die and Dehydration popped on my screen.Apparently killing Hydra on the Ichoron boss fight was the achievement.
That's a very interesting way to each an achivement.
I am fascinated by achievement systems right now, and I wrote a blog post about the topic (focusing on the design aspects, and the fact that achievement systems are all the rage these days). I'd love to hear your opinions on the issue.
