Keristrasza

Incusia was working on reputation with the Wyrmrest Accord. I saw I could do some quests in the Borean Tundra. So off I went.

I saved Keristrasza from a prison. Then together, we baited Saragosa, the consort to Malygos, and killed her. Then this happened…
Malygos yells: Keristrasza! You've bested my consort... and now YOU shall take her place!
Malygos shoots a bolt at Keristrasza, freezing her so that he can capture her.
Keristrasza yells: Never!
Having caught Keristrasza, both dragons despawn.

*gasp*

I couldn’t save her. All I could do is watch as Malygos took Keristrasza. I had released her from a prison to now have Malygos torture and rape her.

I had failed.

When I finished the last task I stood over Keristrasza's corpse in Nexus and cried.

After finishing this quest line I felt sick. I literally was so upset I had to walk away from the game. I went outside and took a walk to wrap my head around everything that happened with Keristrasza.

  1. It's very sad, what happens to Keri. Kinnavieve isn't sure what happens to dragons' souls when they die, but she says a prayer for her every time she has to run the Nexus.

  3. wow that pretty fucked up, i just did this quest and i was reading "Malygos shoots a bolt at Keristrasza, freezing her so that he can capture her.
    Keristrasza yells: Never!
Having caught Keristrasza, both dragons despawn." and i thought....wtf that has never happened to me.... I've done that quest chain about 5 times now and everytime the only thing that has happened is Malygos yells that she's bested his consort bla bla then Keri just despawns....BUT as i was reading this i looked at my other computer screen and I saw Keri frozen in eyes and the yell "Never!" in the chat :D

  4. I am glad you saw what was going on!

This quest line still makes me frown intently. I would not say it was my favorite, but I would say it was my favorite shocking quest line. This was the first time I went from indifference of a character to angry.

I really like that Warcraft can make those emotional changes with just a quest line.
